Earlier this fall we had asked Bonny Bailey of P,S, I Love You Productions to organize and plan a photoshoot with some of our new products. We chose Bonny because of her many years of experience in set design and her keen eye for design, and we will be the first to tell you that she totally knocked it out of the park!
Villa Festa was the venue that we chose because of how beautiful and versatile this venue is and we felt like it lended itself as the perfect backdrop to host this product photoshoot. Setting the stage with the ideal location is the first step and most important decision when planning a photoshoot. Villa Festa provided a dreamlike atmosphere with just the right amount of natural light that we were looking for to capture the perfect photos.
To kick off the shoot, we placed our neon marquee LOVE letters in front of the house as we felt the house provided a gorgeous backdrop for our marquees to really shine and helped to serve as a focal point as it added a special touch of glamour. The model couple that was chosen to stand in front of the marquees were so beautifully adorned in their gorgeous attire from Olivia Owen Bridal and were looking so radiant with the hair and makeup that was so expertly done by Faces by Shannon Beauty.
We wanted to showcase what our marquee letters looked like inside so we went inside the house where Bonny had chosen the perfect placement of our letters to cascade down the beautiful staircase that VIlla Festa has to offer. Our BABY marquee letters never looked better and what a unique and clever way to display these letters! This shot was made perfect by the most beautiful mother holding her newborn baby at the base of the stairs sitting by the most gorgeous florals produced by the super talented Emerald Gardenia.
The addition of our classis telephone booth brought a touch of vintage nostalgia to the scene as it was perfectly positioned inside the venue on a black and white tile floor with lots of natural lighting that helped produce a visually striking effect. And again the florals that Emerald Gardenia added to our booth really helped it to shine as well as to enhance it’s natural beauty.
Of course no photoshoot is complete without it’s sweets! The decadent and colorful dessert table that was placed beside our telephone booth with the amazingly beautiful cake by Anna Cakes provided that extra pop of color to the room and was so inviting. Trust me, we all had a hard time resisting the temptation to eat some cake and desserts during this part of the photoshoot!
A timeless statement of beauty, the white flower wall was place inside of the house near the staircase. This flower wall served as a canvas of pure elegance for our models and created a soft and romantic ambiance for the backdrop for our couple.
Then it came time for the most fun part of the shoot not only for the kids but for the adults too – the Bubble Balloon House! This inflatable dome was filled with pastel colored balloons and was so much fun for the cute model kids that were chosen to be photographed with the bubble. Our awesome photographer, Sonacity Photography, loved it so much that even he had to get in on the action and play in it. This piece is definitely unique and is a showstopper for any type of event. And to be honest, the adults at the shoot had more fun in this than the kids did! It truly brings out your inner child and makes you feel like a kid again!
